vorletztes Post aus Vancouver / second last post from Vancouver

Hier spiele ich in Gastown, in der Innenstadt beim Strassenmusikfest. Es war eher das Fest "Wer kann seinen Verstärker am lautesten aufdrehen..." Da ich keinen Verstärker besitze musste es für mich auch so gehen. Erstaunlicherweise haben mich die Zuhörer gehört und ich hatte immer mind. 30 Personen um mich herumstehen... sehr cool!

performing in Gastown at "Fete de la musique / Make Music Vancouver" or "who is able to perform the loudest! Well, I don't have any amplification sys. so I just played. It was amazing that I always drew my attention to people, they were stunned, amazed and gazed at me performing, always asking questions! Wonderful gig! Well, lets not talk about the major headache I went home with because everyone tried to be the loudest...

Der Berg ruft!!! Mal wieder auf Skyland Mountain oben..

The mountain was calling again... I just love my Skyland Mountain!

Ein Ausflug nach Whistler... tragischerweise war das Wetter zum Kühemelken!  A trip to Whistler... the weather was Vancouver like... typical!

Nein, ich bin nicht ins Paradies gefahren, wobei man das auch meinen könnte. Dies ist mein Ausflug zur Insel "Salt Spring", die direkt am südlichen Zipfel Vancouvers liegt, ca. 1,5 Stunden per Fähre... ach Fähre!!!! Auf dem Rückweg hab ich mind. 4 Wahle gesehen!!! Die sind da einfach nebendran "rumgehüpft" ...nope, this isn't paradise, well you could think it is! Went for a 2 day trip to beautiful "Salt Spring Island" south of Vancouver! And while riding the ferry (approx. 1,5 hours) whales were jumping up and down next to us!!! Exciting!

Und nochmal ein Ausflug, diesesmal in den Osten von Vancouver zum wunderschönen "Buntzen Lake" und Port Moody (nein Handyboy war leider nicht da...)

Another great trip! This time we explored east Vancouver and went to "Buntzen Lake" and "Port Moody" (nope, Hank wasn't around... sadly)

Ein Abstecher in den Seymour Demonstration Wald... superschön! Auch wenn das Wetter Vancouverisch war... regnerisch+wolkig ... a quick busride and I ended up at Seymour Demonstration Forest! Beautiful, even with Vancouver weather... rainy+cloudy

Himmlisch!!! Nachdem der Wetterbericht totalst versagt hat!!! (80% Regenwahrscheinlichkeit und bewölkt) bin ich spontan zum "Leuchtturm Park" gefahren! Dieser befindet sich im westen von Nord Vancouver, auch West Vancouver genannt (immer diese Stadtteile...) Man kann dort ziemlich gut im Wald spazierengehen und wenn man die Richtige Abzweigung nimmt, landet man auf den richtigen Felsen (so wie ich) und hat eine wunderschöne aussicht!

Heaven!!! The weatherforcast wasn't even close to what the weather turned out to be two days ago (80% of rain and cloudy...) When I saw those blue spots on the sky I just had to take the bus to "Lighthouse Park" soooooo worth it!!! Beautiful place on earth! You can walk several routes throught the forest and hopefully end up on the right rock (like me) and have this amazing view!

Und heute gings in den Stanley Park! Es hat zwar geregnet und die Wolken hingen so tief, dass die obersten Stockwerke der Wolkenkratzer schon nichtmehr sichtbar waren, aber es hat sich gelohnt! Ich sollte öffter schwarz/weiß-Bilder von der Stadt schiessen!

Today was a rainy and super, super couldy day in Vancouver. After changing my plans for several times I ended up walking through Stanley Park! It was beautiful, even with rain!
